WARRANTY POLICY
1.1 Standard Build Warranty (1-Week Free)
All DreamPC custom builds come with a default 1-week (7 days) workmanship and assembly warranty. This covers free diagnostics, labour, and component swapping if a hardware defect occurs immediately after delivery.
1.2 Manufacturer Parts Warranty (1 to 3+ Years)
Beyond the first week, your PC is fully protected by individual manufacturer warranties. Most components (CPU, GPU, Motherboard, etc.) come with their own 1 to 3+ year warranties straight from the manufacturer. We will assist you in diagnosing the issue and filing the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process for any failing parts.
1.3 DreamPC Extended Warranty (Optional Top-Up)
Want complete peace of mind? We offer extended DreamPC warranties that cover all labour, logistics, and parts replacements for a longer period. Please contact us via WhatsApp to learn more and get a quote for your specific build.
1.4 Exclusions (Applicable to All Warranties)
- Physical damage, including but not limited to drops, spills, improper handling, or accidents.
- Damage caused by modifications, overclocking, improper installation, or third-party repairs.
- Damage resulting from improper ventilation, power surges, or environmental conditions (e.g., excessive
dust or moisture).
- Software-related issues, including operating system corruption, virus infections, or driver
conflicts.
- Wear-and-tear components such as fans, thermal paste, and external peripherals.
2.1 Reporting a Claim
The Buyer must notify DreamPC of any defect within the warranty period by contacting hello@dreampc.sg or
WhatsApp at +65 8987 6204.
A detailed description of the issue (with photos/videos if possible), along with proof of purchase, must be provided.
2.2 Islandwide Diagnostics and Courier
DreamPC operates an Islandwide Mobile Service. We will arrange a secure, tracked courier to collect the PC from your location.
Note: While labour for diagnosis is covered under the 1-week build warranty, the logistical cost of the 3rd-party courier (pickup and return) is the responsibility of the Buyer unless otherwise explicitly stated by management.
2.3 Replacement of Components
If a hardware component is deemed defective under manufacturer warranty, DreamPC will assist in replacing it with the same or equivalent
part provided by the manufacturer. Replacement parts may be new, refurbished, or equivalent to new in performance based on the manufacturer's RMA policy.
2.4 Turnaround Time
Repairs will be completed within a reasonable timeframe, subject to manufacturer RMA processing speeds, parts availability, and the complexity of the issue.
DreamPC’s liability is limited to assisting with the repair or replacement of defective hardware as outlined in these
Terms.
DreamPC is not responsible for:
- Loss of data. Buyers are strictly advised to back up all data before submitting the PC for warranty
service.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product.
The warranty will be void under the following circumstances:
- The serial number of the product has been altered, removed, or cannot be verified.
- The PC has been repaired, modified, or tampered with by unauthorised personnel.
- The PC has been used outside its intended purpose or specifications.
5.1 Cost Cap on Part Replacements
DreamPC will assist with part replacements up to the value defined by the manufacturer's warranty. For
repairs or out-of-warranty replacements, the customer may choose to pay the difference or accept an alternative
resolution.
5.2 Refurbished or Equivalent Parts
Manufacturer RMA centres reserve the right to use refurbished, equivalent, or third-party parts for warranty replacements.
5.3 Unavailable or Discontinued Parts
If a defective part is discontinued or unavailable, the manufacturer may provide a replacement part of equivalent
functionality.
5.4 Labour & Logistics for RMA
After the 1-week Standard Build Warranty expires, labour for diagnosing a faulty part and handling the RMA process on your behalf is subject to a flat service fee, unless covered by a purchased DreamPC Extended Warranty.
5.5 Manufacturer’s Warranty Expiration
DreamPC will not cover the cost of replacement parts that are no longer under the manufacturer's warranty.
In such cases, the Buyer will be quoted the cost of the replacement part before any work proceeds.
The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original Buyer.
Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period. Claims submitted after the period has expired
will not be honoured.
DreamPC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Updated terms
will not affect active warranties.
